Welcome to Late Blommer.

I am so glad you are here.

Late Blommer is a newsletter featuring long-form personal essays by a Haitian-American writer exploring identity, healing, and the quiet radical act of transformation.

Each piece is a meditation—an attempt to slow down, listen inward, and make meaning from the moments we often rush past.

Sometimes it feels like a eulogy—not for a person, but for the versions of myself I have outgrown, the dreams I’ve buried, or the stories I no longer need to carry.

I write to honor what was, question what still lingers, and name what’s quietly beginning.

If you love intimate, lyrical storytelling that lingers, you’re in the right place.

This is for anyone who’s ever bloomed a little later than they expected.

My essays usually range between 2,500 to 4,000 words.

Currently, I post quarterly in December, March, June, September.

If you’ve ever wanted a slower, more reflective corner of the internet, this is it.

Grab a cup of tea, take a deep breath, and stay a while.
